Created the channel in hopes of spreading motivation and awareness of sports, activities, accessible vacation spots, etc. for others in wheelchairs, other disabilities or to those in a position to help with disability awareness.
I enjoy traveling with my wife, playing basketball, hunting, fishing, snow skiing, and numerous other hobbies. It hasn't been easy, but it's definitely been worth the work.

Amazing video!! My daughter is a wheelchair user 3yo atm and don't really use it at the house, but hoping to build a house within the 3yo. (God willing) and we want it to make sure she can use anything and everything in the house! That is her home too! So this gave me such an insight!

Cute little boy. Maybe put a basket for his clothes somewhere, toddlers dont have the maturity to figure out how to get out of danger with washers and dryers.
@@alicejones3668 he has his own clothes basket. He wanted to put them in the washer.
I would be investing in a safety latch just to be 100% safe. Kids love to make fools out of you 😂 the second you’ve opened your mouth and said “my child won’t …. Or my child would “ boom they make a liar out of you. It also keeps the door from swinging hard enough to bounce back and smack your lil babe.

I like things built accessibly for when I'm too stiff to stand for long. I'm extremely clumsy too so space for clearance is important and the step free aspect of entry prevents so many falls. 😍
That's so rude! The same exact thing happened to me yesterday at the gas station! I opened my van door and there was an enormous pile of spit! Disgusting!

@rackemwells I don't mind the roho hybrid. The vicair I've been trying, I'm sitting so much lower. I don't want one formed to me, and I definitely don't want gel. I've just stuck with the one I've been used to.

@@WheelchairLiving1 man there's so many styles of cushions out there I don't understand how people never give up using a roho or the jay2 deep contour(most popular cushions I've seen issued after sci)
@@WheelchairLiving1 I use a ride designs my personal favorite but there's also stimulate honeycomb cushion that are great too
@codysmiff222 I need to try some more. The issue is that you can't really try them out enough to know, and once you have it, you're stuck for a while until insurance would cover another.

This was very helpful - thank you so much for the video. I have a TiLite Aero Z: actually I have two of them. I took One to the beach one day. The next day nothing on the chair would move, so I had to take everything apart and lubricate it. It was a slow painstaking process, and luckily I had my other chair to learn off of this video is very helpful. I think I’m gonna start Giving my chair a deep clean a little more often.
Awesome! So glad it helped. Beaches are hard on them! Sand and salt water will lock things up quickly.
How about getting out?
I'll have to do another video but pretty much just reverse order.
Im about to buy a range rover and happy getting in but finding the best way to build the chair when getting out is playing on my mind..sometimes just seeing a fellow chair user get out of a big 4x4 can help with tips, I may also see a better way than I’m thinking currently
